March to Greatness
Thanks for your support!
Beautiful cars, great food, and prizes!
There was no better way to welcome the 2020 Spring season than by joining in the fun at a car show for a great cause!
On Saturday, March 14th, the Boiling Springs High School Band Boosters hosted the 2nd annual March to Greatness Car Show to benefit the hard-working students of the BSHS band program.
Our car show fundraisers would not be possible without the planning and hard work of our event coordinators - Robin and Lisa Wilkie. Their love and devotion to our band program has truly been an blessing.
We had a great turn-out, and we are truly grateful to the volunteers, participants and spectators for making this event a success!
Please join us again in 2021!
The Boiling Springs Band program provides positive, life-changing experiences for students and their families, as well as college scholarship opportunities. The band experience is often the highlight of a student’s high school years.
Each year the school district only provides the Boiling Springs High School band program with approximately 15% of our annual operating budget. In order to meet the expectations that parents, students, and the community have for our program, it takes more than what the school district is able to provide. The remainder of the funds needed each year come from fees paid by the students, our sponsors, and various fundraising initiatives. The band booster organization works hard at fundraising in order to keep the student’s band fees as reasonable as possible while providing them with enriching and rewarding experiences.
2020 will be an especially challenging budget year for our band program because we are hoping to take our marching band to the "Super Bowl' of all band competitions - the Bands of America Grand National Championship Competition in Indianapolis, Indiana.
We are extremely grateful to our band family, community, and fundraiser participants for their support of our band program!
